Hail sandwich

Set off from Mike's to recce the Cleevewold under bright blue skies. There was really heavy hail half way round which, as Mike said, was exactly what we love about doing stuff outdoors. Fortunately I had a coat with a hood so was able to love it a bit more easily...
An eighteen mile circuit overall which for me ended up with a bad case of cramps on the final descent. Still a fine run though. Wish I'd tooken a camera.

  1. Bit sad to miss the Cleevewold 14, wanted to run it this year but I'm heading to the Lakes... Sounds like you're getting back into it though. We'll have to cross swords at some point....
